]]> This cool apartment is owned by a 30-year-old engineer, whose intention was to have a home with natural cement-based environment, for him to relax after long busy hours. He asked the House Design Studio for design and construction, and according to the pictures he got what he came for. This apartment has a masculine vibe with cement finished walls, and other industrial elements such as steel bar shelving, metal mini bar for dining, and an “aircraft window view”. I really like the hero elements, however, my personal favourite is the Rubik’s Cube in the bedroom.

]]> This fabulous residence was designed by Pavonetti Office of Design located in Austin, Texas, USA. The principal Shane Michael Pavonetti has worked in several countries and brings a broad international perspective to a regional, almost vernacular design sensibility. I love the way barn-style meets some industrial hint and the lots of beautiful windows on the house.
